Everything you need before your ride.
Just ice, your drinks (BYOB — cans & plastic, no glass or hard liquor), and a playlist. We provide the cooler and the sound system.
2 hours and 15 minutes, with 2–3 bar stops of about 25 minutes each. Need a custom time? Call 512-525-5221.
Up to 15 people — that's the max on our bike.
All riders must be 18 or older. Bring a valid ID.
Yes! Bring your own beer and seltzers. We supply the cooler and ice.
Nope — the bike is fully electric. No pedaling required.
Same idea, upgraded. You might know the concept as a pedal pub, pedal tavern, beer bike, or cycle pub — Austin Bar Bike is the fully electric version, so there is zero pedaling. You just hop on, BYOB, and enjoy the ride through downtown Austin.
Three things: we are fully electric so there is no pedaling at all, we are locally owned and operated (not a national franchise), and from $275 for the whole bike we are one of the best-value party bikes in Austin. Same downtown route and BYOB fun — better value.
Full refund as long as you cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
Yes — you're the boss. You choose which bars to walk into; we cruise Austin's best strips and give you the inside scoop on each one so you always land somewhere good.
We suggest about 2–3 drinks per person for the 2 hr 15 min ride. That way, if you decide to stay out at your last stop, you're not stuck hauling a cooler of leftovers.
Absolutely. At the last stop it's your call — keep the night going right there, or hop back on and we'll return you to where the tour started.
1108 Rose St, just west of downtown — easy metered street parking right there. Show up about 15 minutes early.
Yep — rain doesn't stop us. The bike is fully covered, and a rainy cruise down 6th is honestly a blast. Prefer to reschedule? You can cancel up to 24 hours ahead, no problem. The only weather we call off for is lightning or ice — and if that happens, you get a full refund.
Yes — we make 3 bar stops during the ride, and every one has restrooms and food right there. Plenty of chances to hit the restroom, grab a bite, or order a drink while you're off the bike.
You do. First thing I ask when you board is who’s the DJ — whoever it is gets the Bluetooth and runs the playlist all ride.
Loosely. The early stops roll over — stay longer at a bar you love and the time just comes out of the next one. The only hard number is the ride’s 2 hours 15 minutes.
For weekends or a specific time slot, book at least a month out — the popular times go fast. Online booking is open up to 24 hours before your ride. Need a ride sooner than that? Just call us at 512-525-5221 and we'll see what we can do.
Mixed-seat rides roll once 6 seats are booked. If your departure doesn't fill, I reach out personally to move you to another time or refund you in full — you'll never just get ghosted.
Most groups do, and it's always appreciated. You can add a tip to your card when you book, or take care of your driver day-of with cash, Venmo, or Zelle — whatever's easiest.
Sure — smoking and vaping are totally fine on the bike. No rules there.
Your call. You can lock in the bike with a 20% deposit and pay the rest later, or pay in full up front. There's also a split-payment option, so everyone in your group can pay their own share instead of one person fronting the whole thing.
There's a small step up to board, and the bike isn't wheelchair-accessible. That said, in 8 years we've never had a guest who couldn't hop on — it's an easy step for most people. If you've got a specific concern, give us a call and we'll walk through it with you.
Yep — we ride all year, rain or shine, summer or winter. Same great tour no matter the season.
Absolutely — bring your sashes, signs, banners, whatever makes it feel like a party. In all our years we've never had to turn away a decoration. The only things we don't allow: dogs and kids (all riders must be 18+).
