Your ride explained, start to finish — the 15-seat electric party bike, downtown, BYOB, owner-driven.
Last updated July 2026
Short version: the Austin Bar Bike is a 15-seat, fully electric, BYOB party bike that rolls your group through downtown Austin with a driver, hitting 2–3 bars over 2 hours 15 minutes. No pedaling, bring your own drinks, and the owner drives every single ride. Here is exactly how it works.
It is a 15-seat electric party bike (think a rolling bar on wheels) that tours downtown Austin. You might also hear it called a bike bar, pedal bar, beer bike, brew bike, or pedal pub — it is all the same idea. Your group sits along a bar-style bench, brings their own drinks, and a driver takes you to 2–3 bars while you party on board between stops. It is fully electric, so nobody pedals, and it is owner-driven — that is me, Matt, on every ride.
The whole bike is from $325 ($375 Fri–Sun) for up to 15 people — about $22–25 each split across a full group — or individual seats from $35. Full breakdown in our party bike cost guide.
No. It is fully electric with a motor and a driver, so you never pedal. More on that here.
Through the heart of downtown — 6th Street, West 6th, and the 4th Street bar district — and you can steer the night within our operating area. See the full route.
Just drinks and ice — cans or plastic only, no glass or hard liquor (it is the law for an open-container ride). We bring the cooler and the sound system. Full list in the BYOB guide.
Up to 15 people on the whole bike. Smaller crew? Grab individual seats and ride with others.
Groups celebrating — bachelorette & bachelor parties, birthdays, and corporate outings. Basically any crew that wants a fun downtown night without splitting into a dozen Ubers.
