What is the Austin Bar Bike?
It is a 15-seat electric party bike (think a rolling bar on wheels) that tours downtown Austin. You might also hear it called a bike bar, pedal bar, beer bike, brew bike, or pedal pub — it is all the same idea. Your group sits along a bar-style bench, brings their own drinks, and a driver takes you to 2–3 bars while you party on board between stops. It is fully electric, so nobody pedals, and it is owner-driven — that is me, Matt, on every ride.
How it works, step by step
- Book your date — online in a couple minutes, or by phone (phone booking skips the ~6% online fee).
- Meet at 1108 Rose St — free parking, just west of downtown. Show up about 10 minutes early.
- Load your crew and cooler — up to 15 people, drinks in cans or plastic (no glass or liquor), everyone 18+.
- Roll downtown — I drive you to 2–3 great bars across 6th Street, West 6th, and the 4th Street district.
- Party between stops — loud sound system, your playlist, open-air ride through the city.
- Back to the start — 2 hours 15 minutes later, right where you began.
How much does it cost?

Do you have to pedal?
No. It is fully electric with a motor and a driver, so you never pedal. More on that here.

What should I bring?

Up to 15 people on the whole bike. Smaller crew? Grab individual seats and ride with others.
